Neurosurgery
- To observe the patency of the parent vessel after Aneurysm Clipping Surgery.
- To assess the trace of Carotid artery in Endoscopic Skull Base Endonasal
Transsphenoidal Surgery and Pituitary Tumour Decompression.
ENT EAR RECONSTRUCTION/PLASTIC SURGERY
Our ENT Intraoperative Doppler Digital Volume Flow meter DVM 4500 helps you to trace the superficial temporal artery or auricular artery or their branches in ear
reconstruction surgeries or ENT plastic surgeries.
CARDIAC SURGERY
Our Cardiac Intraoperative Dopplers main applications are,
1)To observe the patency of graft after coronary artery bypass graft surgery in
numerical parameters listed below
- Volume of blood flow (ml/min)
- Arterial waveform with blood flow velocity,
- Pulsatility Index
For a normal graft, Ideal volume of blood flow is more than 20 ml /min for
Arterial graft and more than 40 ml / min for Venous graft with a Pulsatility Index
of less than 5.
2) To observe the patency of artery in Aortic Aneurysm clipping procedure.
URO SURGERY or ANDROLOGY
KODYS Intraoperative Dopplers with Surgical Doppler Probes is used to
identify the Artery for Varicocele in Microscopic Subinguinal varicose
electomy.
It is also used for assessment of blood velocities in pre and post erection
phase by Andro surgeon or sexologist.
Plastic Surgery
KODYS Intraoperative Dopplers with surgical Doppler probes is useful to
assess the trace of Perforator flaps and to assess the trace of Digital arteries
in Anastomosis procedures.
Ortho Surgery
KODYS Intraoperative Dopplers with surgical Doppler probes are useful
- To trace the arteries in casualties.
- To trace the arteries which supply blood to the tumours.
- To assess the arteries in Maxillofacial Surgery / Dental Surgery
You can sterilise the aforementioned intraoperative probes using ETO or
STERRAD, and after 45 to 50 cycles, you can reuse them once more.
